The world’s largest Bitcoin exchange has added more than 20 new features and is now available for iPhone and Android devices.
Bitcoin-related services include trading for bitcoin and Litecoin and trading on more than 100 currencies.
The new apps, which are free, allow users to easily trade Bitcoin for dollars and Euro, among other currencies, and to trade with their friends.
Bitcoin exchange Coinbase also added the feature.
“We have a number of features in place for those who wish to trade bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies,” Coinbase chief technology officer Ben Lawsky told CNBC.
“The ability to transact with friends, with customers, and with fiat currencies is a huge opportunity for those wanting to trade and trade securely with their peers.”
Coinbase said users can trade between USD, EUR, and other currencies.
A lot of the new features come from the “crypto space,” where some companies are expanding into the market.
Bitcoin is one of the most popular digital currencies, but its volatility has made it a risky investment.
The cryptocurrency’s price has been on the rise in recent months, rising more than 10 percent over the past month.
“Crypto is in a bubble,” said Lawsky.
“It’s a bubble that’s only going to get bigger.
There’s a lot of hype and a lot that’s happening, but that hype is over now.
It’s just the beginning.”
